# Edit referral code

> **Limit: 10 requests per second**

`POST /v1/referral/edit_referral_code`

Only Auto generated code can be updated.

The referral code can only be changed if it hasn’t been bound by other user yet. 

There is no limit to the number of times it can be changed.

The referral code must be unique platform-wise.
