Orderly Network Yearly Roundup; Giant Strides Towards Unified Liquidity

It’s been a tremendous year at Orderly Network — a year filled with many highs. As we approach the end of 2023, it’s an opportune moment for us at Orderly Network to reflect on our milestones and achievements. This year marked not just a series of significant events but a transformational journey for our network, our community, and the broader Orderly ecosystem.
While we are supercharged for the coming adventures of 2024, we take a trip down memory lane reflecting some of our accomplishments in the year 2023.
The success of our $10 million dollar orderbook fund in Q4 2022 swiftly catapulted us to a boisterous start in Q1 2023 with multiple DEXes on-boarding onto Orderly’s infrastructure. Notably, top CEXes like WOO and BTSE already tapped into our infrastructure to have order-book based perps for their decentralized arms — WOOFi DEX (now transitioning into WOOFi Pro) & BTSE DEX.
Other integrations include a variety of DeFi protocols such as REF Finance, HERE Wallet, Sender, and many more. All of these integrations and partnerships contributed to our recently achieved milestone of over $500 million in total trading volume on Orderly Network. With many more DApps already in the pipeline, we are super excited for what is still to come.
Our omnichain expansion marked a pivotal point this year. Yes! We expanded beyond the NEAR ecosystem and went “Omnichain”. Now available for builders on Arbitrum, with more integrations with other EVM chains to come, Orderly Omnichain revolutionizes the DeFi landscape by delivering an infrastructure that unifies liquidity across all chains. What does that mean? Users deposit funds in any of our on-chain vaults and initiate trades across any chains supported by Orderly.
We didn’t stop there; we also launched the Orderly Omnichain SDK — a robust toolkit to aid easy integration with our infrastructure. With a comprehensive set of webhooks offering unhinged access to Orderly APIs and smart contracts, builders can now build and ship Omnichain Apps (OApps) in a timely, efficient, and error-free manner. With WOOFi Pro — the first OApp currently running on Orderly’s Omnichain infrastructure — already scoring wins like hitting a 24-hour ATH trading volume of $10 million and more OApps integrations already underway, you can get a sense of why we are supercharged for the coming year.
With the successful completion of the Arbitrum Vault and the anticipation of more deployment, we’ve set a new standard in DeFi liquidity. The mainnet launch and the Omnichain SDK Launch were milestones in achieving a unified and efficient platform for DeFi builders and traders.
The second half the year saw a dramatic increase in perp trading volume in the DeFi scene, reaching a combined market cap of over $1 billion and a daily average trading volume usually sitting at about $100 million.
Safe to say our research team projected right and we saw it coming as we launched our Perps Futures in testnet in May, shortly followed by its mainnet launch in the coming month. Our infrastructure now provides USDC-based Perpetual Futures contracts, quoted and settled in USDC with up to 10x leverage positions.
We also got listed on major crypto data aggregators like Coingecko, CoinmarketCap, DAppRader, and DeFiLlama.
One of the most exciting parts of 2023 for us at Orderly Network was the remarkable growth of our community. 100k+ X followers, 100K+ Members on Discord, and 6k+ followers on Medium, we certainly have enjoyed immense support over the past year.
With such immense support, we always innovated on ways to show our gratitude and further create a closely-knit family — particularly with the Community Incentive Program, Ambassador Program, and many more rewarding campaigns.
In 2024, we aim to continue to make our impact felt in the Web3 space with continued and improved activations like the 8-week long Orderly Social Carnival hosted with all our partners.
May 2023 marked the first anniversary of Orderly Network — a milestone celebrated with a blend of nostalgia and forward-looking enthusiasm. Reflecting on a year of relentless innovation, the team’s journey from humble beginnings to becoming a cornerstone in the DeFi sector was highlighted in various campaigns and giveaways.
Since then, we have not only gone on to enjoy significant growth, we have continued to innovate beyond DeFi’s limitations. Unifying liquidity with Orderly Omnichain and our on-chain vaults, simplifying DEX development with the Orderly Omnichain SDK, delivering a settlement layer for DeFi derivatives (perps) with the Orderly Chain, and improving DeFi liquidity and UX with our customizable on-chain orderbook interfaces.
You can already sense the sky is only the beginning at Orderly Network!
A key to our success this year has been the formation of strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Google Cloud, MoonPay, WOOFi Pro, SWEAT, LogX, and various ecosystem partners. These collaborations have not only expanded our reach but also enriched our network with diverse expertise and innovative solutions.
Through partnerships with robust builder communities such as LearnWeb3 and Hooked Protocol, we have been able to continue demonstrating the ease of integration with our infrastructure via multiple mini-courses, workshops, frequent X spaces, and more.
With the rapid growth of our trading volumes and numerous integrations in the works, we certainly hit the jackpot with all our partnerships and are well on the way to building a more robust ecosystem for DeFi builders and traders. You certainly can expect more incredible partnerships in 2024.

Come mid-Q4, the Orderly website was completely revamped to allow for easy navigation for builders and traders alike. The new look to our website was made to reflect our role as the permissionless liquidity layer for Web3 trading.
This redesign reflects our commitment to staying current and responsive to the needs of our traders, builders, and partners.
Our hallmark physical event of the year was a fun-filled one brought together by a joint effort of Orderly Network and Radiance Ventures. Held in Taipei and co-hosted with Coinbase Wallet, Base, and Google Cloud, the event featured a hackathon and keynote sessions offering insights into the latest trends and innovations in blockchain, Web3, and DeFi applications.
50+ speakers and over 18 million+ combined followers of speakers and partners on X, including notable figures from OKX, Polygon, Taiko, Coinbase Wallet, Base, Polygon, Google Cloud, Cardano, Curve, Kudasai, and more, the event definitely reverberated across Taipei delivering valuable insights to Web3 audiences.
Our presence at the Rewire the Block event in Taipei was a remarkable opportunity to showcase our innovations and connect with industry leaders, influencers, VCs, and even some government officials championing Web3. This event was a testament to our growing influence in the global blockchain ecosystem and our role in positioning Taipei as one of the prominent hubs for blockchain growth in Asia.
The Orderly Omnichain SDK Workshop represented a significant step in educating and empowering developers. This initiative has been crucial in spreading knowledge and fostering innovation with the Orderly Omnichain SDK.
Joined by educational platforms like LearnWeb3, Encode Club, and Cambridge Blockchain Society, the workshop provided builders with the appropriate mentorship for using the Orderly SDK.
