Orderly Network has come a long way in a short amount of time. Since launching in 2022, we’ve already surpassed US$10 billion in trading volume, and have integrated some of the world’s highest-caliber decentralized exchanges into our novel permissionless liquidity layer. Backed by major investors like Sequoia China, Pantera Capital, Primitive Ventures, Dragonfly Capital, Jump Crypto, and GSR Ventures, Orderly has rapidly gained traction with DeFi builders and traders alike, fueled by high-profile partnerships with Google Cloud and more.

And, Orderly fully retains the Web3 ethos of self-custody, and has always been envisioned as a public good controlled by stakeholders through decentralized governance, such as by rewarding stakeholders for their contributions to the network’s vibrancy through an Orderly token. We are excited to announce today for the first time that the token distribution is coming this summer.

Between now and then, Orderly Network is launching “The Road to The Order,” a gamified campaign whereby traders can earn "Merits" and compete for a share of the Orderly Network token. A significant portion of the token airdrop this year will be distributed to the participants in “The Road to The Order” based on their standing within the campaign.

The Road to The Order will launch next week with a dedicated tab on the Orderly Network website that will include additional details, such as a leaderboard to track each users’ accumulated merits, as well as an estimate of the merits they will receive in each of the campaign’s epochs. We currently expect more than 10 epochs to the campaign, lasting approximately one week each.

Why The Road to The Order?

A gamified campaign is the best way for Orderly Network to provide a realistic environment to evaluate performance before the airdrop – we want you to put our platform to the test. We also want you to experience firsthand all of our partner DEXs; we’re confident you will like our ecosystem of trading partners as much as we do.

Who will be eligible to claim Orderly Network tokens?

In addition to participants in The Road to The Order, Orderly Network has identified several groups who have contributed to the development and success of the network, and will be eligible to claim tokens.

These groups include Orderly Network’s earliest community members, such as those who have participated in our Galxe and Zealy initiatives, as well as made EVM and NEAR trades, prior to the launch of the leaderboard next week.

Two important details:

• Galxe and Zealy campaigns during The Road to The Order will still be counted toward the Orderly Network airdrop.
• Trading through NEAR before, and during, The Road to The Order will still qualify those traders for the Orderly Network airdrop, but NEAR traders will not be a part of The Road to The Order campaign.

• The exact determination of the Orderly Network token distribution to relevant persons will not be publicized to prevent unwanted manipulation.
